Getting to Lopez Island

Ferry

Lopez Island is accessible by ferry from Anacortes, WA. Yes you can take your car. You will arrive on Lopez after a 40 minute ferry ride through scenic and calm waters.  You can make a ferry reservation to Lopez and this is more important for summer travelers to do. You can’t make a return reservation so learn about returning here.  Spots are released 2 months, 2 weeks and 2 days from a sailing. You will still make it to the islands if you don’t have a reservation. If you have any questions just ask. Here is current the Ferry  Schedule

Flying to Lopez Island

Kenmore Air offers scenic and convenient float plane flights from Seattle to Fisherman’s Bay, Lopez Island which is one quarter mile from The Edenwild. Check out Kenmore Air for details and reservations. 

San Juan Air offers flights from various locations to Lopez Island Airport, located 3 miles from the Edenwild. Beat the traffic and fly directly to Lopez from Anacortes, Seattle or Bellingham.

Biking

Lopez is one of the best biking destinations in the Northwest and the Edenwild is only a 4.5 mile ride from the ferry landing. Some guests choose to leave their car at the Anacortes Ferry Terminal and bike on the ferry to Lopez. You can also walk on the ferry and pick up one of our rental bikes right at the Lopez Island Ferry Landing.
